Organisation: Institute of Legacy Management (ILM)
Type: Professional body for legacy managers
Service: Professional development consultancy
Brief: Make ILM’s professional development offering fit-for-purpose, future-proofed, sustainable, reflect best-practice and be accessible to a wide audience.
Activity: Three pieces of research were undertaken: member value proposition, member journey mapping and a skills audit. The results of these were used to provide insight and intelligence on the skills which members, non-members and employers need / want / value. The next stage was to establish how ILM’s current and future provision matched what the marketplace told us. The review needed to encompass a CPD programme and training provision, and take into account financial and resourcing implications with a view of identifying income generating opportunities.
