Better Business Awards
As a PR consultant and multi-award-winner myself, I started Better Business Awards in 2014 to combine my skills and breathe new life into business award programmes.
Many membership organisations run award programmes, or probably should do, as they are a highly effective way to promote and reward the expertise of members.
- has your award programme lost focus?
- do you want your award to be the one that companies crave to win?
- does your award programme recognise best practice in your sector/industry?
- do you want to set up an award programme but don’t know where to start?
- would your award programme benefit from a new PR/marketing strategy?
If you answered yes to at least one of the questions above then get in touch with me to discuss how you can move forward. Whether you would benefit from an audit or feel that the force of my full-blown consultancy service is what you need, you just need to get the ball rolling by making a call, sending an email or filling in the form below.
“Lindsey and I have worked together for years on the CIPR Excellence Awards and she is professional and determined communicator. She is able to juggle many projects all at the same time and never forgets the small details and was a great facilitator for the excellence award judging and provided an excellent level of professionalism throughout her work. She is unflappable and able to handle a range of personalities with integrity, diplomacy, and good humour. She has a keen mind and a friendly manner.” Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR)

CIPR Excellence Awards
Organisation: Chartered Institute of Public Relations
Service: Awards adviser for the annual Excellence Awards
Brief: To assist with the judging process and facilitate the decision-making to determine category winners. Advice on the business award programme, e.g. categories, process and judging.
Activity: Attending each of the 150+ interviews each year and guiding the judges towards deciding the winners keeping front-of-mind that each category winner must reflect best practice in the industry. This level of involvement provides the CIPR with a unique insight which is fed back into the planning for the next years’ award programme. I retained this contract for 12 years, from 2006 to 2018, until the CIPR removed the element of interviews from the awards judging.
