Woo hoo! I have been shortlisted for two business awards.
The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), my professional body, has announced the shortlists for its 2012 PRide Awards and I am up for Best Freelance Practitioner and Best Digital Campaign in the Home Counties South region.
The CIPR PRide Awards are judged by senior industry experts who shortlist the work they consider to be amongst the best in the country. This means that I do more than a good job for my clients as it is the whole package I have been judged on from interpreting the brief, formulating a strategy and delivering results that have a positive effect on my clients’ business.
For Best Digital Campaign I am up against a website for Southern Water – a real David and Goliath contest! My entry was for the website I developed for the networking company Ladies at 11.
I am the current holder of the 2011 Best Freelance Practitioner award so have my fingers crossed that I will do the double and be awarded the gong for 2012 as well. It is a real achievement to be shortlisted for this particular award as it is about far more than a piece of client work. To be considered I had to provide information on my business for the last three years, including my business objectives and analysis of financial performance, significant achievements, client testimonials and a client case study to show how effective my work is.
It’s not too long to wait for the winners to be announced. There’s a slap-up binge at the Brighton Metropole on 28th September when I will be put out of my misery.
Keep an eye out on this blog as I will post the results here. Fingers crossed everyone :0).
