Business award for Surrey business woman
Ashtead-based business woman, Lindsey Collumbell, has been recognised for her continued business success by being shortlisted in the inaugural Ladies at 11 Business Awards.
Ladies at 11 is a networking group covering Surrey, London and the South East and these awards celebrate business women who have achieved significant success. Lindsey Collumbell, founder and director of marketing company Bojangle Communications is one of three shortlisted in the Continued Business Success category for businesses trading for over five years.
“Being shortlisted for a business award is a wonderful accolade, but to be recognised for the fact my business continues to be a success even after all the economy has, and still is, throwing at small businesses is something special,” says Lindsey Collumbell. “My award entry focussed on how I had adapted my business to the decline in demand for marketing services by creating more ways for companies to work with us. In addition to the traditional way of outsourcing marketing to us, we now also train and coach business owners to do their own marketing which means marketing expertise is more affordable for smaller companies who need their limited marketing budget to go that little bit further.”
This is a double-success for Bojangle Communications as last month Lindsey Collumbell was shortlisted for another award, that time it was as Best Freelance Practitioner in the CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations) Pride Awards for the Home Counties South region.
Winners from the Ladies at 11 shortlisted finalists will be announced at a presentation dinner at Sandown Park on 7th October 2011.
