I am thrilled, honoured, elated and lots of other positive feelings as today the shortlist for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations regional PR awards called “The PRide Awards” was released … and I have been shortlisted as Best Freelance Practitioner for the Home Counties South region.
This is such an achievement as over 1,000 entries were submitted into this year’s awards and reaching the shortlist is an endorsement that my work has been judged to be among the best in the UK. Once the winners are announced at the slap up binge Awards dinner in November I will add my entry to this site for all to see, but until then I just want to say a big thank you to a previous client of mine, Sue Atkins.
Sue is a wonderful parenting coach and she very kindly gave me permission to be the case study I used in my entry for this award. We did some wonderful work together and achieved great things for her business through PR so I must say thank you to Sue for the opportunity she gave me of working with her. Cheers Sue :0).
On a final note, I thought I would add a quote on the awards from Jane Wilson, chief executive of the CIPR:
‘The CIPR PRide Awards celebrate the best PR and campaigns from the profession across the UK. To be shortlisted for an Award demonstrates exemplary achievement, impact and value – immediately putting their work in the spotlight. Congratulations to everyone for reaching this stage.’
