James Bond & the Queen at the 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony

This video has nothing really to do with marketing but I could not resist posting it here for you to see.

I could do a bit of spin and say that it is about brand positioning when it comes to showing the world what being British is all about – James Bond, the Royal Family, a great sense of humour, being able to laugh at ourselves, etc etc etc, but really the inclusion of this video in the 2012 Olympics Opening ceremony was just a sheer stroke of genius.  Nothing more.  Nothing less.
