Today was short and sweet with just one category judged – Corporate Responsibility. The judges learned more about campaigns for grassroots projects, sustainably-sourced fish, a social investment bank, safety around construction sites, hand-washing and member-owned enterprises.
There’s nothing out-of-the-ordinary to report with regards the judging as today’s session went without a hitch, which makes my job easier :0, but there was BIG news elsewhere on the Excellence front. Drum roll please … Olympic medalist Colin Jackson CBE was confirmed today as MC for the awards dinner.
Tickets are still available for the Dinner on Monday 28th May at The London Hilton, Park Lane. If you haven’t yet secured your place and fancy spending the evening alongside Colin Jackson, head over to the CIPR website and book your tickets there.
Tomorrow is back to being jam-packed with another two categories and twelve companies facing the judges.
